Amazon Kindle is an E-book reader manufactured by Foxconn for Amazon. This has three hardware devices, known as Kindle, Kindle 2and Kindle DX.

This uses the OS Linux-2.6.22.19 with a CPU of Freescale 532 MHz i.MX31L and with a Storage capacity of 4 GB internal flash memory.

Kindle software applications are for Windows, iPhone OS, BlackBerry, and Mac OS X version.

Kindle DX device has a larger screen than the others and supports PDF files. It is also the thinnest Kindle with an accelerometer for easy usage.
